ABOUT
Sophie’s Rescue Mission aims to protect and reach out to feral cats in the Upper Manhattan community. This outreach includes: documentating their existence, location, and providing them with food so that they do not go hungry. If an intervention is necessary, Sophie’s Rescue Mission aims to help by assessing the situation and recommending or providing solutions.

Sophie’s Rescue Mission is a grassroots volunteer effort, as such, every effort will be made to respond to e-mails in a timely manner. If you see a cat or an animal that is in need of immediate attention, you can always call 311 (in NYC) for immediate assistance. If you need to report animal abuse, contact your local police department or 911.
